The Kern County Lerdo Maximum-Medium Security Facility is located at 17645 Industrial Farm Road in Bakersfield, California. This facility is considered the second oldest jail within the county and is host to approximately 408 pre-sentenced and sentenced inmates. Inmates may be released from the Kern County Lerdo Maximum-Medium Security Facility between 8am and 12am on their scheduled release date. The release process can take as long as 8 hours to complete.
