General Information for the Kern County Lerdo Pre-Trial Facility
The Kern County Lerdo Pre-Trial Facility is located at 17695 Industrial Farm Road in Bakersfield, California. With the ability to house up to 1,232 inmates at any given time, this facility is considered the largest detention facility within Kern County. This facility is home to both male and female inmates from Kern County as well as other State and Federal agencies. Inmate property is released Sunday – Friday, from 8:00am – 8:00pm and may take between 30 minutes to 3 hours to complete. Additionally, it may take up to 8 hours to release an inmate if you post their bond.
The Kern County Lerdo Pre-Trial Facility has employed medical staff to be available to inmates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Furthermore, this facility has provided inmates with Psychiatric staff members from 7:00am – 5:00pm, 7 days a week.
Visitation Information for the Kern County Lerdo Pre-Trial Facility
All visitors over the age of 18 years old are required to show proper identification when visiting an inmate at this facility.
